This Belimo GM24A-SR, contains heavy torque DC motor. The rotation of the motor depend upon the input signal. The torque from DC motor is utilized for the rotation of damper. Parallelly, Damper actuator produces the feedback output signal.

This device take 24V DC as an auxiliary supply. Input signal ranges from 2 to 10 V DC. While output feedback signal also ranges from 2 to 10 V DC. This actuator rotates the damper up to 90°C in 150 sec.

Operating mode : Y input is a signal in which DC voltage varies from 2 to 10V DC. This input moves the damper from 0% to 100%. U is output signal having DC voltage varies from 2 to 10V DC , It is type of feedback which can be considered as % of opening. This U output can also be given as an input to another actuator.

Simple direct mounting : Universal shaft clamp make it easy to clamp the shaft. This clamp is having special feature which prevents the movement of actuator.

Manual Override : With push button, actuator can get manually locked. With this manual button gear train is get disengaged for as long as this manual button is pressed.

Adjustable angle of rotation : Adjustable angle rotation with mechanical end stops.

Easy direction change : Direction is easily changeable with variable nobe which has two options 0 and 1. With 0 selection, It moves anti-clockwise. With 1 selection, It moves clock wise.

WORKING- Belimo GM24A-SR Damper Actuator

Auxiliary 24 V DC supply is readily available across the actuator. It only needs an input V DC signal for operating, Signal ranges from 2 to 10 VDC. At 2 V DC, It positioned the damper at 0°. At 10 V DC, Damper is get positioned to 90°. For that complete cycle damper needs a time of 150 sec.

As the input signal voltage increases, The angle of damper increases gradually. This can be understand through a graph below. In a graph, Input DC signal placed at horizontal X- axis ranges from 2 to 10 V DC. Damper angle is placed vertical side Y-axis ranges from 0 to 90°.

Apart from, This damper actuator produces the feedback signal according to its position. Feedback signal voltage ranges from 2 to 10 V DC.
